1. What cookies are
Cookies are small pieces of information stored by a browser and sent with later requests. Similar browser technologies such as localStorage can save a value on the device without sending it with every request.
2. Essential session cookie
The contact form uses a PHP session to create a CSRF token that helps protect form submissions. The web server may therefore issue a session cookie. Its exact name and lifetime depend on PHP/server configuration.
3. Local storage preference
The site stores a value under nortixa-consent in localStorage after a visitor chooses “Essential only” or “Accept optional.” This prevents the preference notice from appearing repeatedly on the same browser profile.
4. Analytics
GA4 is not configured in the current build, so the site does not intentionally load the GA4 library. If a real GA4 Measurement ID is added later, analytics should remain subject to the site’s consent logic and this policy should be updated with the resulting cookies and retention information.
5. Google Tag Manager
GTM is not configured. No placeholder GTM ID is inserted. If activated later, GTM may load other tags and the actual configuration must be reflected in this policy.
6. Cookiebot
Cookiebot is not configured. The current preference interface is a lightweight site control rather than a Cookiebot deployment.
7. reCAPTCHA and Maps
Neither reCAPTCHA nor Google Maps is configured. The current site therefore does not intentionally load those Google services.
8. Affiliate tracking
No affiliate destination is configured, so there is no active affiliate click tracking in the current build. This must be revisited if monetized links are added.
9. First- and third-party storage
The current storage described above is first-party functionality. Optional third-party storage may appear only if integrations are later configured.
10. Managing storage
You can clear cookies and site data through your browser settings. Clearing localStorage will remove the saved Nortixa preference and the banner may appear again.
11. Blocking essential cookies
Blocking all cookies may interfere with the contact form’s session-based CSRF protection. The rest of the informational content should remain readable.
12. Updates
This policy should be revised whenever tags, consent tooling or affiliate tracking changes.
